Social Stories - Asking for Help

£0.00

Sometimes children get frustrated when trying to do something, and asking for help doesn’t come automatically. This social story looks at helping children to verbalise what they need in order to stop them getting frustrated.

How to use a social story: Read it to your child every day for a week when they are calm and snuggled up with you. Talk to them about how they feel when they can’t do something and some strategies they might try. This will help build their strategies so that when they feel the emotion of frustration rising, they can see these techniques to regulate their emotions.

We have made this resource for with our love because we want your family to blossom with us.

No pressure, but if you want to, you can buy me a coffee to say thanks and support me here: https://ko-fi.com/sarahfeatherstoneblossom
