Why is birth to three so important?
Your baby’s brain develops faster in the first three years of life than at any other time.
It’s important to stimulate them with language, play and new experiences so that they form lots of connections in their brains.
Every experience or interaction builds a connection, which makes their brain grow and build ‘pathways’ to handle messages and learning.
The more connections they have, the faster their brain will work and the better at learning they will be.
At the age of 5 - 6 they stop making new connections. the ‘pathways’ they have will be what their brain has available for learning for the whole of their life.
You playing with and talking to your baby as much as possible, and giving them things to stimulate their curiosity and interest, will help them to build and strengthen these connections for life.
You are important.
You make the biggest difference to your child.
By the time they get to school it’s too late, so let Blossom help you start now.
